Website design and development
We design and build websites front to back, including the machinery behind them: online booking, payments, and client logins. One team owns the design, the build, the launch, and the measurement, so there is nobody to hand off to and nobody to blame. We work with clients in English and French, and we build in both.
What is included in a website build
- Design. Layout, typography, and the page structure that carries a visitor from landing to booking.
- Front end. The site people see, built to load fast and read well on a phone.
- Back end. The parts that do work: forms, databases, integrations, and the admin screen you use to run it.
- Content editing. A way for you to change copy and images without calling us.
- Launch. Domain, DNS, hosting, and deployment handled as part of the job.
- Measurement. Analytics and conversion tracking set up on the pages that matter.
Can you add online booking to my website
Yes. Booking is one of the pieces we build into a site rather than bolt on afterwards. That means a real scheduling flow on your own site, connected to your calendar, with confirmation and reminder email handled. If you already use a booking tool you like, we connect that instead of replacing it.
Can you take payments on my website
Yes. We build checkout and payment flows through a payment provider, so money moves without the visitor leaving your site. That covers one time payments, deposits taken at booking, and recurring billing where the business needs it. Card details stay with the payment provider.
Can you build a client login or a member area
Yes. A client login is an account area behind a password: somewhere a customer can see their bookings, their invoices, their files, or whatever your business needs to show them. We build the sign in, the account pages, and the admin side you use to manage it.
Can you redesign or migrate an existing site
Yes. A redesign is usually the faster job, because the content already exists and the decisions are about structure. A migration moves an existing site onto a new platform without losing the pages search engines already know about, which means keeping the addresses or redirecting them properly.
Will the site be fast and work on phones
Yes, and that is a build decision rather than a finishing touch. We build mobile first, keep the page weight down, and check the site against Core Web Vitals, the loading, interaction and layout stability measures Google publishes. Accessibility is handled in the same pass: keyboard focus, contrast, and labels.
Who writes the copy and supplies the photos
Either of us can. If you have copy and photography, we build around them. If you do not, we write the copy from the scoping call and the questionnaire, and we tell you plainly what photography the site needs before the build starts, so nothing is a surprise at launch.
Who owns the website, the domain, and the content
You do. We set the domain up in your name and the hosting account in your name, and the code and the content we produce for your site are yours once the work is paid for. We keep our own pre-existing tools and templates, as the terms set out. Ownership and handoff are written into the agreement before the build starts, not negotiated at the end.
What happens after launch
The site is yours to run, and we can keep working on it if you want us to. That covers content changes, new pages and features, dependency and security updates, and watching the measurement to see what is actually happening. What is covered and how often is agreed in writing rather than assumed.
What does a website cost and how long does it take
Both depend on scope, and we will not pretend otherwise. A brochure site and a site with accounts, booking and payments are different jobs. We scope the work on the call, then send a written quote and a schedule. No figure appears before we know what we are building.
How we work
- Scoping call. Thirty minutes, no pitch deck. We look at what you have and tell you what we would do.
- Questionnaire. You fill in the details, so the quote is based on facts rather than on an average.
- Written quote and schedule.
- Design and build.
- Launch, with measurement in place on day one.
- Whatever comes next, if you want us for it.
Where to go next
Running ads at the same time? Read about paid ad consulting and creative on Meta, or about the full system, where the site and the ads are run by one team. When you are ready, fill in the project questionnaire or book a scoping call.
